Circling the coast of Tokyo Bay
Started the morning with a walk to Hinode station; this was to be the beginning of a rather long photo walk for me on this trip.
One of my favourite photos from this trip.
The Tokyo Rainbow Bridge in the distance.
Sunny day it was!
Took a train from Hinode to Kokusaitenjijoseimon station which included going across the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge to go to Tokyo Big Sight.
Passed by Ariake Tennis Court, where the sheer number of tennis courts available in the area, including a colosseum for tournaments, gave me a pleasant surprise. I’m kind of certain that there’s almost no way Singapore will have that many tennis courts in just one area alone.
Like the architectural designs of the buildings around the Tokyo Bay a lot. Some simply look futuristic and have features that people often see in future cities.
Didn’t expect to see an “artificial beach” here. Winter and sand together was the last thing I would have in mind, coming here.
The skyline of Tokyo Bay that could be seen on this fine day.
After spending half a day in this area, I can confidently say that the time I have allocated for a photo walk here was horribly insufficient. There were so many places that I wanted to see and explore, but I already had a solid plan in mind. Would love to drop by here again!
Next, the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge.
