The cool weather and peacefulness made it a very enjoyable and relaxing stroll around my residence; really put me at ease and made me forget about any trouble or worry that lingered in my mind.

A picture taken in the evening, or rather, late afternoon since the sun sets pretty early during winter. Seeing the ‘2014’ on the Tokyo Tower every evening before 1st Jan 2015 just reminds you of all the things you have accomplished or gone through in 2014, and that 2014 is ending in a couple of days.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this area, due to it being quiet, and yet very accessible and convenient. With a temple just within 200m of my hotel made my “Hatsumode”, or first visit to a shrine or a temple easy. Definitely one of my favourite residences in my entire history of traveling to Japan.
